At Carents, we understand that caring for an elderly loved one can be both rewarding and challenging. Feelings of isolation and overwhelm are common, but you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. We’re excited to announce the launch of “Time to Talk,” our new initiative designed to bring carents together through fortnightly online discussions and regional Facebook chats.

What Is “Time to Talk”?

Time to Talk is a community-focused programme that offers two new ways for carents to connect:

1. Fortnightly Online Discussions: Virtual sessions where carents can come together to share experiences, offer support, and build meaningful connections.

2. Regional Facebook Chats: Localised groups within our Facebook community, allowing you to connect with carents in your area.

Fortnightly Online Discussions

Join Our Virtual Gatherings

Our fortnightly online discussions are a relaxed and welcoming space for carents to:

  • Connect: Meet others who understand the unique challenges and joys of caring for an elderly relative.
  • Share: Openly discuss your experiences, challenges, and successes in a supportive environment.
  • Support: Offer and receive advice, tips, and encouragement.
  • Learn: Occasionally hear from guest speakers on topics relevant to caregiving.
